George Jackson has been working in entertainment lighting for over 20 years and has been active in many different facets of the industry including television, dance, theater, nightclubs, sporting events, cruise ships, corporate events, education, special events, architectural projects, and places of worship. His recent theatrical lighting design credits include, “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Shrek”, “Newsies”, “Godspell”, and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” at theatres throughout in Orlando and West Palm Beach, Florida.
George has extensive programming experience on various lighting consoles including HOG, ETC, and grandMA. He is also skilled in the use of previsualization software such as Wysiwyg, Light Converse, and Vision as well as media server systems including Arkaos, Axon, Catalyst, and Pandora.
In addition to his design and programming skills, George is also a very experienced CAD operator and works with Vectorworks, AutoCAD, and Revit.
George has a B.A. degree in Theatre from the University of Central Florida as well as A.S. and A.A. degrees from Valencia College where he also taught Advanced Stage Lighting for 7 years.
