An indispensible asset and great fit in a company full of multi-talented designers, Charles Foster operates equally comfortably in event, entertainment and architectural lighting design. Charles graduated summa cum laude from Francis Marion University with a B.A. in Theatre Design & Technology, and earned a Masters in Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Boston University. Charles wasted no time making a name for himself after graduation, and was soon a well-respected young East Coast designer. After joining Lightswitch Charles rapidly expanded his reach to major event and entertainment projects nationwide, and has become a strong presence in the architectural lighting design field. Charles’s belief that effective lighting design must begin with a deep understanding of the people who will experience his work has resulted in a long list of delighted clients and successful projects.
