Alex Seiler

Lightswitch Chicago

Alex Seiler joins Lightswitch with over 15 years of professional lighting and design experience.  After earning his Bachelors Degree in Theater at Southeastern Missouri State, he attended Northern Illinois University and earned his MFA in Lighting Design.  He has worked in all facets of lighting, including designing the award nominated lighting for the world premiere of Stick Fly in Chicago, concerts and festivals with Paul McCartney, Lady Antebellum, and Farm Aid, corporate meetings for numerous clients, and live tv events for WWE.  He’s held positions of crew member and chief, designer, programmer and gaffer.  Alex has enjoyed the opportunities that his work has given him and the chance to see the world.  

Alex lives in Nashville with his wife and three Labrador retrievers, and enjoys SCUBA diving and photography in his spare time.
