What It Was

Intercontinental Hotels Group hosted their 2008 America’s Investors and Leadership Conference in Los Angeles in the Nokia Theater…just two days after the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards.

What We Did

Clearly, schedule was a challenge! Producers GO! Productions turned to Lightswitch for help, and in turn we looked once again to long time partner Prelite to provide a detailed and accurate previsulization system, allowing both lighting and media to be pre programmed off site. By integrating lighting and media design into one seamless solution, Lightswitch was able to provide maximum efficiency to the client, and have one point of contact on site to streamline communication.

Why It Worked

By combining detailed planning, accurate previsualization, Lightswitch’s world class on site team and exemplary support from the house staff at the Nokia Theater, were able to install a visually engaging lighting and media system under very tight time constraints. The client was delighted with the end result, and the audience was unaware of the challenges imposed by the Emmys.
