Biopharmaceutical company Baxalta debuted its new exhibit booth at the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) conference in Toronto. Designed by Hamilton Exhibits, the booth was outfitted with state-of-the-art interactive displays, media and integrated LED lighting that created a compelling yet comfortable environment for guests.
Lightswitch designed lighting for the exhibit, assisted with schedule and budget management, and provided onsite setup at ISTH and later at the 2015 American Society of Hematology meeting and exposition in San Diego. We collaborated with repeat client Hamilton to create a comprehensive lighting scheme that integrated perfectly with the exhibit architecture and supported its media displays. Using “Baxalta blue”—the company’s signature color—we washed the hanging ribbon above the booth with saturated color to make this highly visible element stand out amid the show floor. Inside the exhibit, we used color to bring out the vibrancy of the graphics. Clean, crisp white light comfortably illuminated seating and gathering areas, encouraging attendees to linger and learn more about the products. In addition, Lightswitch preplanned and coordinated the lighting installation directly with convention management and other vendors to ensure a seamless setup and reduce unnecessary costs.
Our philosophy of communication and collaboration resulted in a design that achieved both Hamilton’s and Baxalta’s objectives, and a successful project that was delivered on time and under budget.
