An all-new sound and light show lit up Parliament Hill in 2005.
An all-new sound and light show lit up Parliament Hill in 2005. This inspiring show uses fantastic lighting effects and impressive, gigantic images to tell the story of Canada. Using words, music and sounds, the half-hour program ran summer evenings on Parliament Hill, an extraordinary place to appreciate Canadian history.
Lightswitch was engaged to coordinate the projection systems and to act as creative advisors. Working closely with AVH Business to Business, Lightswitch advised on the best way to use large format technology to implement the design ideas of the show. Our staff was also on site to implement the design as well as train the local operaters of the National Capital Commission.
Our extensive experience working on large projection projects was invaluable to the process. We were honored to be asked to be a part of a very special project and we helped to guide the content in a direction that would be dramatic and have great impact when projected 300' tall.
