Electronic Arts - E3 exhibit 2013

Los Angeles Convention Center | 2013

As in 2012 this project required extensive coordination and collaboration. Lightswitch partnered with booth designer Stephen Amato of Premier Displays, media designer Matt Ward of Tekamaki and content producer B-Reel to create the experiential space for EA.

What It Was

Once again EA turned to Lightswitch for their massive presence at E3, and once again it was impossible to miss the booth! As soon as attendees entered the main South Hall entrance, they were enveloped in EA’s dynamic, interactive and engaging environment.

What We Did

As in 2012 this project required extensive coordination and collaboration. Lightswitch partnered with booth designer Stephen Amato of Premier Displays, media designer Matt Ward of Tekamaki and content producer B-Reel to create the experiential space for EA. This year an enhanced degree of interface between lighting, video and media was desired, and an array of media servers, video playback devices and lighting consoles was designed control the booth.

Why It Worked

This year EA focused on fewer game titles, to deliver a more targeted guest experience. With EA Sports, Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed each featured in a content rich ‘mini booth’ within the EA space, the team delivered an ‘on brand’ and appropriately themed environment for each title.
