Disney Creative produced Cleveland's Bicentennial celebration and wanted to create a show that would be seen and remembered throughout the city.
Lightswitch was retained for their expertise in design and implementation of large format projection. In this case, large format was required in order to accomplish the spectacular colorful results on the side of the city’s landmark Terminal Tower Building. Lightswitch designed imagery that would depict the history of the city and be fun at the same time.
One hundred foot tall hand-painted characters were seen for miles at the stroke of midnight as the projection began in rhythm with the music and fireworks above. During the rehearsal process, people drove from miles away to the center of the city to see Mickey Mouse on the Terminal Tower.
