What It Was

Fremont Street, in Las Vegas, NV, is reportedly the world’s most filmed walkway. The street is covered by millions of lights that are programmed to produce graphics, which move in time with a vivacious soundtrack.

What We Did

Each of the 2.1 million bulbs has its own dimmer, and the overall design results were revolutionary at the time. Lightswitch utilized cutting edge technology and imagination, as LED technology at this magnitude was not yet possible. The design enabled thousands of color effects to be produced in many different shades, resulting in endless animation possibilities. Lightswitch received a Themed Entertainment Association (THEA) Award for this project.

Why It Worked

Lightswitch helped to conceptualize and execute the impressive design. The magnificent results are a worthwhile experience for visitors.
