College of DuPage | DuPage | 2007

In only one year, Lightswitch designed, bid and installed new ETC Sensor+ dimming racks, an ACN-ready network, Unison house controls that are networked across three processors.

What It Was

In the three month off-season, the College of DuPage wanted to revamp each of their four theater spaces and the lobby. While the rigging and fixture inventory was updated, Lightswitch upgraded each of the dimming systems.

What We Did

In only one year, Lightswitch designed, bid and installed new ETC Sensor+ dimming racks, an ACN-ready network, Unison house controls that are networked across three processors. A Highend Systems Hog IPC controls the lighting in the main stage.

Why It Worked

Lightswitch’s experience with theater lighting and dimming, our connections with Chicago engineers, equipment representatives and manufacturers enabled this job to be completed in exactly one year. Our uncompromising attention to detail, and the intense planning that went into the design before construction even began, allowed the short three-month installation to be completed smoothly and on time.
