After the success of HRS 2010, GroupDelphi once again turned to Lightswitch to help conceive an innovative solution for Medtronic’s exhibit at this important cardiac care conference.

What We Did

Medtronic’s presence at HRS 2010 was a right tableau of color, energy and dynamic motion. After the success of the booth in 2010, the creative team decided on a design approach for 2011 that embraced the unexpected – rather than trying to ‘top’ ourselves, we took a different tack altogether. Working as part of GroupDelphi’s team Lightswitch helped evolve a design aesthetic that was more museum gallery, less nightclub. Simple, Mondrianesque panels of color were integrated into subtle, gentle product ‘beauty shots’, resulting in a soothing, calm environment for doctors, clients and Medtronic staff to meet, chat and conduct business.

Why It Worked

Medtronic have always embraced innovation, and have a reputation for being bold, and unexpected. By not resting on our laurels or simply creating a ‘rinse and repeat’ design, the GroupDelphi / Lightswitch team was able to conceive a new, refreshing, unexpected yet welcoming presence for Medtronic at HRS 2011,
