What It Was

The former fish market has been transformed into a cutting edge immersive children’s exploratorium that boasts numerous themed environments (ranging from an Egyptian archeological dig to a "mad scientist's" home).

What We Did

Many practical fixtures are used to enhance the diverse moods of the museum. A complex lighting control network was designed to allow maximum flexibility and user manageability.

Why It Worked

Throughout the design process, particular attention was paid to both cost of ownership and (most importantly) the safety of their small guests. The lighting designs enhance the rich and engaging environments through the use of theatrical lighting principals, which serve to ‘set the scene’.
