Reebok Pop-up Experience

Boston, MA | 2014

Working with a limited budget and an extremely tight timeline, Lightswitch designed the lighting for the galleries and displays.

What It Was

As part of Reebok’s 2014 sales meeting, the company transformed its corporate headquarters into a pop-up store experience. GO! Experience Design created temporary gallery and product displays in Reebok’s indoor workout spaces where guests could view its new product line, including the recently revamped Reebok pump shoe.

What We Did

Working with a limited budget and an extremely tight timeline, Lightswitch designed the lighting for the galleries and displays. We used a combination of stock products and custom solutions to create interesting and innovative product illumination within in the existing spaces. A custom-made light box, for example, reveals running apparel and shoes in one space, while suspended triangles constructed onsite from LED tape, plywood and Masonite delineate a display of women’s workout gear in another. Elsewhere, we used stock lamps and fixtures, such as color-changing LED PAR lamps controlled by wireless software, to add vibrancy and ambiance to display walls and shelves.

Why It Worked

By being flexible, creative and thinking on our toes, we were able to completely transform Reebok’s headquarters into an exciting, dynamic and budget-friendly retail space that was constructed in one week and dismantled shortly after with no damage to the existing structure.
