Victory Plaza

Foghorn Creative | Dallas, TX | 2007

The interior of the plaza is a vibrant, kinetic environment using 8 HD LED Screens which track independently to either end of the plaza.

What It Was

Located in the heart of Dallas, Victory Park is envisioned to be one of the most significant master planned urban developments in the United States. Phase One includes a ‘W’ Hotel and a tower by Philippe Starck. At full build-out, the project will contain more than 4,000 residences and 4 Million square feet of office and retail space

What We Did

The interior of the plaza is a vibrant, kinetic environment using 8 HD LED Screens which track independently to either end of the plaza. Backing the screens are perforated walls which jut away from the building. Dynamically controlled lighting, embedded into the eyebrows of the building, illuminates the wall and the eyebrow itself with sweeping color.

Why It Worked

Lightswitch worked as part of the Foghorn Creative Team to help conceptualize not only the lighting but the media design and programming of the space. Hillwood, the owners of the site, successfully created a venue which attracts and celebrates the Dallas Arts Community.
