Lightswitch Architectural is proud to be the only independent Lighting Design firm to be exhibiting at Greenbuild 2010 in Chicago, IL. Lightswitch Architectural will be showcasing its abilities to provide sustainable lighting design while maintaining creative interest and quality lighting. In addition, Lightswitch Architectural is showcasing a number of sustainable products that we have come to use on our energy efficient and LEED® projects around the world. Lightswitch Architectural is a design only practice and does not sell or get remuneration from any manufactures. We specify the best products for the given application.

The Xicito spot module is the first genuine LED equivalent to halogen module on the market in a MR16 size. Two versions are being shown at the show. The standard series module with 80 CRI and 2700K color temperature and the Artist series 95 CRI and 2700K color temperature.

The VLX Wash from Philips Vara-Lite is the first high power color changing LED moving head wash fixture. Colors change instantly compared to equal products using HID source, power use is dramatically reduced, and lamp life is greatly increased. Seven color mixing chambers create a range from 3000K to 9000K color temperatures and a dynamic range of colors. First of its kind cooling systems are used to keep the LEDs at the proper temperature.

Tempo Industries has created an amazing 2700K LED cove product with the lowest carbon footprint on the market. The heat sync and metals in the product have no mercury or hazardous waste. The housing is not painted so the zinc can easily be melted down and recycled. The product is easy to install and has a great light quality.

The Philips EnduraLED A19 lamp is the lamp of the future. At 12.6 watts and 807 lumens it is the first solid state replacement for the most common lamp, the 60w A19 incandescent lamp. The lamp is 2685K and 81 CRI. Come see this amazing new lamp.
