From the moment he picked up an old Olympus OM-1 camera, at a young age, Daniel discovered a fascination for light and shadow. With a BA in Theatre Arts and a BA in Film Production from California State University, Long Beach, and an MFA in Lighting Design from Carnegie Mellon University, that fascination has been honed into an eye for detail and a passion for the art of lighting. His lighting design portfolio includes over 40 collaborations of live theatre, dance, and opera, as well as experience in architectural and corporate lighting design. Since joining Lightswitch, Daniel iscontinually amazed and thankful to be working with such a talented group of artists and technologists in this journey to create and realize breathtaking, immersive environments. While his biggest goal is to put his theatrical background to good use in the themed entertainment industry, he knows that together we can do anything.
