Zachary Borovay is an award-winning media designer and creative director. He has designed projections for a dozen Broadway shows, including the long running hit ROCK OF AGES. He has created and directed media and events for major theme parks all over the world, festivals, concert tours, film shoots, museums, operas, nighttime spectaculars and even a circus!
Zak honed his craft first as a jazz bassist at the Berklee College of Music before pivoting to design, later creating a college level curriculum called The Visual Art of Music where he taught students about the relationship between music theory and visual design. He is the creative consultant for LDI’s media sessions, the Digital Media Commissioner for USITT and a cohost of the weekly podcast Light Talk with the Lumen Brothers.
