Hailing from the valley of the sun, Maia is a proud queer black and Latina designer and electrician looking to light up her environment with saturated color, creating dynamic worlds within her work. Graduating with a BA in Theatre: Design and Production from Arizona State University, Maia's goal within her work is to shine a light and uplift her fellow BIPOC and queer artists, making the next generation of artisans and tastemakers within the culture through innovative storytelling.
