Rebecca Chernoff

(she/her)
Designer
Lightswitch San Francisco

Rebecca’s interest in lighting began as an Interdisciplinary Sculpture Major at Maryland Institute College of Art, where she built elaborate experiential installations that incorporated elements of light, sound, electronics, and metalwork. After becoming an expert in steel fabrication during her years working for bespoke furniture maker Harris Rubin, she sought out training in Computer-Aided Drafting and Revit, which led her into the Architectural-related fields of Space Planning and Lighting Design. She has worked on a large variety of Commercial and Residential projects and loves to dig into the details of production using 3D modeling. She is excited to have recently joined Lightswitch and is thrilled to be able to continue exploring light and its possibilities in space.
