The Lane Crawford Joyce Group relaunched this store after its flagship location sadly had to close its doors in 2022. This new luxury retail store is located in Pacific Place Mall in Admiralty, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong.
Lightswitch worked closely with Collective Studio on a lighting design that would honor the Joyce brand legacy. Our primary goal was to highlight key areas of the store, drawing attention to important features like product displays and special promotions. Through the strategic placement of lighting fixtures, we engineered these focal points to capture the eye and enhance the overall store aesthetic while still maintaining design flexibility when needed. More static areas, such as wall displays and hanger locations, feature ample illumination to highlight the available products. Our approach keeps the fixtures discreet and minimizes glare, allowing the retail items to take center stage.
Our design for this project goes far beyond just creating an inviting atmosphere – it also guides customers on a visually engaging journey as they explore the store. Our collaboration ultimately aimed to achieve a harmonious blend of functionality and beauty, so that every element of the shopper’s experience is enjoyable and memorable, down to the last detail.
