Catch Restaurant wanted to create an alluring and unforgettable experience for its diners. This fine dining seafood and steak restaurant, located in the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas, was looking for lighting that epitomized its slogan “You are Where You Eat.”
Catch Restaurant wanted to create an alluring and unforgettable experience for its diners. This fine dining seafood and steak restaurant, located in the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas, was looking for lighting that epitomized its slogan “You are Where You Eat.” Lightswitch took the opportunity to craft a truly beautiful and immersive system of integrated illumination.
Collaborating with the Rockwell Group and Bergman Walls & Associates, our team created a dining experience with New York sophistication, LA atmosphere, and an all-around organic feel. We made sure to emphasize architectural details with the soft glow of decorative fixtures.
Furthermore, we added to the existing architecture of the building by crafting a veritable tunnel of light leading into the restaurant, as well as adding charming hanging lights from a tree that occupies a portion of the space.
Most notably, we created a system of concealed and highly integrated architectural lighting. From the moment guests walk into the restaurant, the ubiquitous illumination helps transport them to an elegant and magical place.
By installing a strong backbone of minimally intrusive architectural lighting, our team allowed indirect light and glowing accents to create a high level of visual comfort for diners. Because too much reliance on decorative lighting for necessary illumination can create unpleasant glare, we made sure to carefully curate the accents and supporting fixtures, which allowed for a beautiful visual composition and a soft, easy glow throughout the restaurant.
