The Eisenhower Health Foundation was created to support Eisenhower Hospital through fundraising, and allows the hospital to meet the changing healthcare needs of the Coachella Valley community. To celebrate the accomplishments of the Foundation, a grand gala was held at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert. To honor the guests – both donors and front-line healthcare workers from the Eisenhower Health network – a star-studded lineup featuring David Foster, Katherine McPhee, Loren Allred, Jon Batiste and Keith Urban was assembled by acclaimed entertainment producer Executive Visions. CEO Michael Marto called upon Lightswitch to assist in the creation of an evening full of music, magic, and philanthropy.
Collaborating with our longtime creative partner Michael Marto, Lightswitch set to work defining a one-of-a-kind evening for the Eisenhower Health Foundation’s Gala. Our team designed a flexible lighting system that was appropriate for the evening, which included lighting for both the stage and the audience space in the arena. This way, everyone was a part of the show, and no one was just a spectator. To enhance this effect even further, the audience wore controllable LED wristbands provided by Glow Motion and programmed by Lightswitch. Working with Keith Urban’s lighting director Ben Silverstein, we ensured that the night was filled with color and magic, weaving a journey of light for guests and performers alike.
Part concert, part gala, part TV special, this experience called for expertise spanning several fields. Lightswitch is especially adept at creating design solutions for one-of-a-kind performance events, and this year’s Eisenhower Health Foundation’s Gala was the perfect opportunity to exercise this skill. This enchanting evening brought together music, philanthropy, and celebration, and we knew that the visual aspects of the show had to be just as spectacular as the performances on the stage. We are proud to have played a part in producing this event, which celebrated donors and healthcare workers alike and raised millions of dollars for an admirable cause.
