Electronic Arts - E3 2011

Los Angeles | 2011

Working with collaborator and client Stephen Amato and Premier Displays, Lightswitch helped conceive an environmental ‘booth takeover’, as the entire space was visually taken over by one of six game titles, ranging from Star Wars, to FIFA soccer, to Sims.

What It Was

E3 is the global showcase for the electronic gaming industry, and as a market leader Electronic Arts wanted a unique experience that helped them stand out from the cluttered show floor and create a memorable impact.

What We Did

Working with collaborator and client Stephen Amato and Premier Displays, Lightswitch helped conceive an environmental ‘booth takeover’, as the entire space was visually taken over by one of six game titles, ranging from Star Wars, to FIFA soccer, to Sims. Lighting and projectors supported the aesthetic of each game title, creating and immersive themed experience that put the visitors in the game, rather than just watching footage.

By combining careful planning with high visual impact lighting and media design, Lightswitch was able to help Electronic Arts stand out from the crowd. The lighting and media design created a memorable booth that drew attendees from across the show floor to experience the game footage in a truly immersive environment.
