General Motors had a vast number of new vehicles to unveil to their dealers, and also celebrate the success of the renewed partnership with the dealer network. Dealers from the diverse range of GM brands were invited to Las Vegas for a series of meetings and events.
By drawing on resources from throughout the organization, Lightswitch was able to provide a seamless design service for the meeting producers, the Detroit office of Jack Morton Worldwide. Using a huge lighting inventory, Lightswitch designed two meeting spaces, one large enough for audiences of up to 6,000, a car salon and a truly spectacular contemporary party.
The schedule for this production was very tight, and the meetings complex. As on similar projects of this scope, Lightswitch made extensive use of pre-visualization technology to pre program a significant portion of the program. This degree of planning combined with a large Lightswitch on site team ensured the event had a cohesive design style throughout, met schedule challenges and exceeded expectations.
