Home Depot Sales Meeting

What It Was

Lightswitch provided lighting and projection design for Home Depot’s 25th Anniversary, held in Orlando, FL. As the planet’s third largest retailer, the celebration needed to be huge.

What We Did

Lighting for the General Session and Final Night Gala were challenging. The General Session included extensive architectural lighting, including a mini TV show. The Final Party included three unique settings: a cocktail reception, a sit-down dinner and a private performance by Aerosmith for 7,500 people. Each distinct area needed to have maximum impact, despite the logistical differences.

Why It Worked

Lightswitch helped Hartmann Studios (event designer) and Greg Sullivan (set designer) to meet their challenge. Home Depot's CEO remarked, "We were able to deliver on all fronts. We dazzled associates and their families. We touched them emotionally. We surpassed expectations - and we had a wonderful time."
