What It Was

Working with long time collaborator and production designer Mac Mosier, Lightswitch was proud to design show content for Josh Groban’s ‘Stages’ summer tour.

What We Did

Collaboration is the hallmark of all Lightswitch projects, and Josh Groban’s ‘Stages’ was no exception. Working closely with Mac and Josh’s manager Diarmuid Quinn, the team combined years of concert design experience to craft a bespoke environment for Josh’s show. Content including abstract and photorealistic styles, and featured architectural images, a homage to Vincent Van Gogh, and artwork influenced by Josh’s forthcoming Broadway debut in The Great Comet. Camera shots and Imag were tightly woven into the content, creating a seamless vista without ugly windows or 'pips'

Why It Worked

We were challenged with a fixed budget and a very tight timeline, both criteria that bring out the best in us! We worked efficiently and effectively to rapidly meet the needs of the production on time and on a budget, leaving the artist, management, and the audiences delighted!
