NuSkin rocks their global audience once again in 2017!

What It Was

Every two years premier anti-aging company Nu Skin turns to Atlanta based Executive Visions Inc. (EVI) and its team of producers, directors and creative visionaries to create an exciting and memorable experience for distributors and guests from around the world. A long time Lightswitch client and collaborator, EVI once again drafted us to design lighting for the entire event and content for concert and entertainment performances.

What We Did

EVI challenged us to design a flexible and versatile lighting rig, with all events including a Force for Good Gala, a Maroon V concert, several business sessions, Nuskins Got Talent competition, and a concert featuring legendary composer Hans Zimmer and his orchestra. We designed a core rig, which worked well for these diverse needs and featured close to 1,000 moving lights. Beyond the myriad moving lights utilized for the event, there were six 150’-long arrays of kinetic winches and LED orbs hovering above the audience and stage. Lightswitch also curated, archived and programmed all media playback for the event, and designed content for the Hans Zimmer concert. Blending footage secured from the motion pictures Zimmer performed with bespoke animation, we created a breathtaking panorama combining iconic movie scenes with dynamic visual media.

Why It Worked

Rather than simply a collection of free lancers, Lightswitch’s attention to detail and proven ‘holistic studio’ approach ensured whether an intimate performance as part of Nuskins Got Talent, a focused business session or the sweeping majesty of Hans Zimmers performance, every aspect of the production felt expansive, immersive and appropriate.
