Nissan launched the latest version of their compact SUV, the Rogue, at the 2016 Miami Auto Show. By revealing the all-new Rogue at sunset and utilizing minimal décor and additional elements, we kept the focus on the car itself, the stunning location and architecture

WHAT IT WAS

Nissan chose the 2016 Miami Auto Show to launch the latest version of their class-leading compact SUV, the Nissan Rogue. As part of the Nissan “Year of the Truck” the event was held off-site in an intriguing and exciting environment amidst the skyline of Miami Beach.

WHAT WE DID

The event was held on the 7th floor of the iconic 1111 Lincoln Road multi-use structure designed by architect Herzog + de Meuron. We worked with experiential agency George P. Johnson to design an unusual and captivating open-air event. By revealing the all-new Rogue compact SUV at sunset and utilizing minimal décor and additional elements, we kept the focus on the stunning location and architecture.

WHY IT WORKED

The combination of time-of-day, intriguing architecture and spectacular location made the event visually stunning. The background of the Miami Beach skyline at dusk gave way to the dynamically illuminated forms of the architecture. This minimalist aesthetic supported the exclusive occasion without distracting from the star of the show: the Nissan Rogue.
