Lightswitch worked with longtime partners Hamilton and Video West on Zimmer Biomet’s booth for the annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). At this event, Zimmer Biomet was presenting a range of exciting innovations in orthopedic technology and wanted to effectively draw attendees (and potential buyers) to their space on the event floor. We worked with the client throughout the design and installation process, and our continuous involvement allowed for a streamlined and efficient result.
Lightswtich’s strong existing partnership with Hamilton allowed our team to dive into this project with confidence. Prior to construction of the client’s booth, we made sure to review all renderings and plans. This helped to align all facets of the design, and resulted in a product with which Zimmer Biomet was truly satisfied. Lightswitch also bolstered the efficiency of the project’s budget by eliminating hard headers above the booth. This cut down on funds usually reserved for lighting and rigging. Instead, we worked with Video West to create video installations that assisted with wayfinding.
The booth, which showcased a range of cutting-edge products in the world of orthopedic technology, was one of the largest and most eye-catching on the show floor. The bold, clean design drew in potential buyers, where they were treated to the latest in operating room technology – including a showcase of camera-clad micro-robots with the ability to complete surgeries remotely.
This was not our first time working on Zimmer Biomet’s booth for AAOS, and this established relationship served us well, as we were able to act as leaders throughout the process. From rendering to final build, our team strove to create a booth that would highlight the client as a leader in the field of orthopedic technology. Our sleek design and simplified signage made for a polished and immersive experience for attendees. We were proud to showcase the exciting tech that will populate operating rooms of the future!
