Lightswitch worked with George P. Johnson Company to develop the visual design for the reveal, as well as the lighting design for the event and exhibit environment.

What It Was

Luxury auto company Infiniti unveiled its new product badging and a new mid-size sport sedan at its 2013 North American International Auto exhibit and press reveal, which were designed and produced by George P. Johnson Company on behalf of Infiniti.

What We Did

Lightswitch worked with George P. Johnson Company to develop the visual design for the reveal, as well as the lighting design for the event and exhibit environment. We illuminated product and public spaces with crisp white light, while extending the unique Infiniti brand color scheme throughout the exhibit environment. At the reveal event, we worked closely with the vehicle designers to showcase the color and shape of the new sedan with the right lighting conditions.

Why It Worked

The clean, minimalist exhibit surround allowed Infiniti’s lavender color palette to pop, creating a distinctive identity on the auto show floor. Using the same uncluttered vocabulary, our design for the reveal show enabled the new branding language and sedan to take the center stage. Photograpy by Kathryn Rapier
